Answers:
Chicken will eat almost anything so if you have any kitchen waste food give them that. If you mow the lawn and you have the clipping which are untreated with any pesticides or fertilisers this will feed then also. Best of luck.
Give them some mowed grass
I only have two chickens. When I run out of grain I give them bread. They really like it alot.
Got some tomatoes around? They love it. Look in your yard.. See any dandelions, flowers, marigolds?

Did you cook already? they'll eat rice, and leftovers

Best yet. Can you dig in your soil and get worms and bugs?
You can take unused flour and mix in water and maybe an egg or two cook as you would a pancake, cool and serve to eager chicks. Let them out to the yard and they will go back when it is time to roost. They love to sratch up grass hoppers and will follow when you mow the lawn and catch the hoppers.
They will eat anything..leftovers are good, but if you don't have any they will definitely eat bread, lettuce, tomatoes, crackers, cereal, rice and corn. They will even eat plain boiled spaghetti, I think they think it is worms!!
My chickens even love french fries, they come running when they know I have some!
They'll be happy in the meantime just pecking around the yard. If you're really concerned, give them vegetarian scraps from the kitchen. They love it. My chickens fight over corn and other vegetables. The rooster usually ends up eating all the bread I give them. Potato peels after you peel them for mashed potatoes are always good. They love apple peels too!
pop corn oat meal bread cracker turn them out and let them find their own food
go to the feed store they have chicken feed theres all kinds crack corn egg crumbs pellets mash just go to the feed store and ask them they carry alot of the food for chickens and things i use pellets for my chicken they do good with it too..allways keep sum upstairs and downstairs just in case i keep mine downstairs
