chin needs help?

my chin got bite by another chinchilla so i started puting neosporin on him thn his hair started falling out around the wound then i gave him a bath in water so i can see if he had any more cuts or scraps their was none but his hair started falling out what should i do
Answers:
Washing him with water is the worst possible thing you could have done. It's natural for them to lose hair around wounds, you should have left it alone.
Sorry, it's done now, but in the future, even hurt chinchillas only get dust baths. Do not get them wet!
For now, keep him warm and wait until the fur grows back. It wil take a little while, keep him out of drafts.
Look here for info on chinchillas.

EDIT
NEVER use people medicine on animal without asking a vet. Never!
Chinchillas are so funny looking.
call a vet
I am allergic to triple antibiotic. neosporin. Maybe your chinchilla is also. The allergy system sometimes is all that is needed to prevent infection.
Try paste of haldi+besan+milk cream
Chins should never get wet. This can cause skin fungus and hair loss.. Please check with the vet as soon as you can as it may only get worse and could possible transfer to the other chinchilla.
First you dont give a rocent neosporin. second you dont put them in the water they can get wet tail diseas. and second i love chinchillas dont let it happen again!!
