how do you catch a mouse without having to buy traps because i want to catch this mouse and bring it far away before my cats get it and my parents wont get any traps because tehy probably just figure my cats wil ltake care of it

I assume u want to dispose of it without killing it. chk out buying a device that will emit a frequency that will drive them off, look online for pest control devices. If u want to use traps try peanut butter instead of cheese since it is harder to "seize and run". that should help u out
If one gets in then more will. You'll be catching and escorting mice away forever if that's your plan. Let the cat get it and forget about it.
Put your cats away for a while and put some cheese in some areas such as corners, or you might have to buy traps with your money, if you have any, or just try rat poison. Tell your parents that you can't always rely on cats to kill a mouse.
Well not all traps leave the mouse exposed for cats to play with. As long as you don't mind it being alive most "humane" traps trap the mouse inside a little plastic box that a cat would be hard pressed to open. Can't help you with your parent's not forking over the cash though.
