this is an interview with the star of Racing Stipes..Very interesting..her telling about riding the zebra>
It was so fun because, you know, zebras are very different than horses. They each have their own personalities and it鈥檚 very interesting to see. But they鈥檙e a little more temperamental. You鈥檝e got your nice ones and you鈥檝e got your horrible ones, and you鈥檝e got your totally crazy ones.

But it鈥檚 very different than riding a horse.

They鈥檙e very slow animals actually, zebras. Very slow. Unless you stick a lion behind them and even then they won鈥檛 even run in a straight line. They鈥檝e got really tough mouths, so it was me sitting there and you would have to tug. Whereas with a horse, you can just sort of glide them along. They walk in zigzag lines and you would have to tug to get them to stop. Some of the ones that we had were so sweet and so well trained it was amazing. [It was] amazing what we did with these zebras. Nobody ever expected it.
Don't know the movie, but yes, you can ride a Zebra just like a horse or mule or donkey
Ha ha!
Yes you can ride a zebra. But, they are naturally smaller and weaker than horses.
I would imagine so as long as you can keep on it, because I am sure it would buck.
I would assume so. Zebras are just another breed of horse.
Yes and yes.I have have a friend that owns one, it really weird to watch someone ride one in person. She breeds Zonkeys half zebras half Donkeys////Also there is a place in San Diego that breeds Zorses, half zebra half horse.
Yes it really was a zebra in the film Racing Stripes. Zebras are wild animals though and they aren't domesticated like cats dogs and horses. So they still have wild instincts and require more patient training than a horse would.
Yes, you can ride a zebra. They have a very nice gait. Better than a horse. I rode my first zebra at the circus when I was little. Since then I have ridden 2 elephants, 3 camels, and a bison. (yes, that is a Buffalo) I have raised 3 tigers, a cheetah and over 54 different parrot species..
"zonkeys" and "zorses" ?

But then how do they get scanned ?

I mean do the bar code fade away ?
Yes you can ride a zebra.
Yes, I saw a photo once of a nineteenth century missionary riding a zebra. They don't have very strong backs, though.
Yip!
yeh u can athough there spines arnt that strong they can carry someone light fiesty little cretures tho but i would still like to own one done a lot of reserch and much like keeping a horse and i got plenty of experiance in that field lol xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
i saw that but if it really was a zebra they would have to like digitally fix it so he goes faster since tey aren't as strong. it might have been a pony with black stripes. and they are hardeer too train and less popular than horses. and if you were thinking ofa ebra 4get it.
Yeh you can ride zebra's!
