Cat or dog? Which is the best pet to have?

Answers:
Both are great pets, just depends on what you like and what you have time for. Dogs require more attention than cats, they need to be walked, let out and played with on a regular basis. While cats, don't have to be walked, don't have to be let out, they use a litter box and don't actually have to be played with all the time. If you give them some toys they can entertain themselves while you are at work/school, whatever it is you do. But both with provide you with equally the same amount of love and attention. Personally I'm a cat person, I have 2 and they are they greated things in the world, make my day so happy and fullfilling.
neither
a dog if you want a really playful pet

a cat if you want a calm pet
get a dog - never get a cat - they are mean and boring - dogs are a man's best friend
I have both cats and dogs. The cats I have, well I love 'em, but they are such a pain in the booty! They get fleas worse than dogs and our female cat peas and poops all over the place. Dogs aren't that easy either, but I think they're better because you can play with them and they can leave the house with you.
Good luck!
both
Depends on the person, but I like both.
cat!!
cats
i have three cats
i tihnk cats are less work and you have to walk dogs and run around and play with them
depends on your situation, your taste, and budget.dogs tend to be more expensive to maintain than a cat.
of course, cats tend to be independent. when they need you, they'll come to you. anyways, faithful companions.
DEpends on rather you live close to toilet facilities for them cats are better if you don't have time to run all over looking for a good fire hydrant or a nice grassy area.
There both good pets you have to spend more time with a dog and clean up after it.But I love dogs. You don't have to spend as much time with cats .But I like cats just as much as I like dogs.
Cat if you have a little time to give, the are independent and take care of themselves. Dog if you have more time to spend. I have a dog that I let out 3-6 times a day. Cats are liter box trained.
DOGS! cats are boring and they scratch. but dogs are playful and of course a mans best friend. dogs might bite but it doesn't hurt much at all. i don't have a dog but my friend does. if you get a dog what breed might you get. i love Yorkshire terriers.
cats because u dont have to walk. clean, or pick up after
It depends on your lifestyle and your personality and your living space. Different animals (both cats and dogs) have different pesonalities too. Do some research. Check out the animal you are thinking about getting. -And their behaviour does change after they have lived with you for months/years and as they age. Either a cat or a dog will change your life -for the better.
Dog. This will love you and protect you always. He will greet you everytime you walk through the door. Will want nothing more in return other than your love. Cats just do their own thing and the males stench like nothing on this earth. They don't always like to be petted and scratch furniture and on most occasions their owners too. !
a dog because you can walk it and play with it you cant walk a cat
Dog. your cat cant play frizbee with you. Or can it? German Shepherds
FACT: If you own a dog and die in the house, if youre body is discovered a week later, they will find the dog malnurished and gaurding your body. FACT: If you own a cat and die in the house, if your body is discovered a week later, they will find your cat healthy and pleased to see them, but your eyes will be chewed out if their sockets and the tips of your fingers chewed to nubs. You do the math.
hi, I have had both cats and dogs seperately and sometimes owned both together. I found you get the same love and affection from both animals but in different ways.If your home most of the time, then either would be great pets but if your out at work a lot or just not home a lot, I suggest a cat as they are more independant than dogs. No house training, no teething and pretty much very easy going. But very loveable cuddly pets. Its hard to choose but i would look at how much time you have to spend with the animal and go on that. Good Luck.x
