Do any of you know the procedure of rectal palpation in pregnant mares?

Answers:
The answer is the same as the last time you asked it,
Get a vet!
If you don't know how to do it or what you are feeling for, it's pointless to try to do it yourself. You may do more harm than good if you don't know what you're doing and make a mistake.
Just face it, horses are expensive! If you can't afford proper care, especially for a potentially pregnant one, you need to give her to someone who can.
Horses can have difficulty delivering. That's and expensive vet bill, they also can retain the placenta, get an infection, and much, much more. You need to have a reliable vet that knows you and the horse.
YOU NEED A VET!
Now, before it becomes an emergency.
If your not trained to palpate a horse you shouldn't do it as you can tear the inside of the mare. Some vets will do sonograms to answer questions and they have the proper restraints to do it. If a thousand pound animal doesn't want to be palpated a person may have a hard time getting it to stand still. Too much risk for the untrained. If your vets too high call around.
Yes and I have done it many times.
If you do not know what you are trying to feel for it will be useless to do.
Get your vet to palpate your mare.
They are right, get a vet.
#1 rule is: if you can't afford the vet, you can't afford the pet.
Do the right thing.

You were looking for sites to ask questions on earlier and I got one for ya. You have to create an ID and sign up, but it's free. It's
http://www.practical-pet-care.com/.

You'll still need a vet though.
