Do animals get disorders like diabetes, High and Low BP etc?

yes they do. i lost my oriental shorthair cat to diabetes at the age of 7.
yes -especially dogs.
Absolutely.my dog has been diagnosed with diabetes and I've been having to give her insulin shots.

my 8th grade lit teacher had a diabetic cat who she had to give insulin shots 2 times daily my uncles dog had authritius before it died and a friend of mines dog has high blood pressure

They absolutely do! Diabetes can be diagnosed in the vet's office with a simple blood glucose test and you will have the results before you leave. It is treated with insulin, just like in humans. Also, for blood pressure, vet offices have blood pressure machines that they use to monitor BP during surgical procedures and to do BP averages on animals where there is a concern. They usually take the BP 8-10 times and average it out. Animals get many other conditions that humans get, i.e. UTI's, anemia, thyroid disorders, adrenal disorders like addison's disease, cataracts, etc, etc, etc. The list goes on and on. Were you concerned about something in particular?
Yes they do. its just that people dont usually talk abt these.
