Did you know that a loophole in the law exempts garments made with up to $150 worth of fur from being labeled?

The Fur Products Labeling Act requires that any garment made of fur list the type of animals used and the country in which the animals were killed. However, a loophole in the law exempts garments made with up to $150 worth of fur from being labeled.
How do you feel about this?( Make a diffrence now and sign the petition?

Answers:
fur is genocide of animals
Fur is murder!
I didn't know that.
Yes I did, but good job spreading the word!
Well, if that's true then I don't agree with that. All fur items should be labeled so people know exaclty what they're buying. I am not a vegetarian or anything, but people that think fur is murder should keep somehing in mind: Do you eat meat? Do you use leather tennis shoes? You may as well call that murder to then because animals are used to make those items. Now, I personaly don't agree with hunting for sport, or killing animals for the sole pupose using their fur. But if an animal is being used to feed people, I don't have a problem with that IF it was killed humanely.
If I was a dictator here, I would outlaw ALL garmets with fur
As usual a load of misguided answers.

Lets not use fur - no need to breed the animals then - Oh they're extinct - whoops.

Get a grip, I am not condoning the use of fur from endangered species, but if the animal is bred for that specific purpose then what is the problem.

Do you want to stop having steak and leather, or lamb and wool?

When you have positively identified the fur that has been used, and it will mostly be rabbit, which would reach epidemic numbers if not controlled, take your petition and file it in a very dark place.
