Do animals have a soul?

i don't know god gave us animals etc to eat except certain creatures. i'm guessing, they might have a soul that gives them life but i don't think they have a spirit.

no animals do not have souls, man has the soul and that is what we loose when we die.you either give your soul to jesus or you give it to the devil. the bible says in the scriptures who knows if the spirit of an animal goes up or down, animals do not sin man does. the bible refers to many different animals that are with Lord i am completely confident that animals are in heaven.if animals had souls that would mean they would be able to make choices and would stand in judgement from God and they do not have to do this because they do not sin..only man does thats.

I believe they do, you can see it when you look in their eyes. They have as much emotion and depth as people do, if not more.
