we are doing deck the stalls at the barn we board our horses at but our horses wont be there at that time so we are helping our friend who wats 2 do a princess theme. The horse is a red roan mare and she will have a tiara do you have any ideas on how 2 decorate the stall as a castle and the horse a princess
Answers:
you can use chalk or whitewash to draw fake stones on the outside of the stall to make it look like castle walls, use cone-shaped cardboard cutouts at the tops of any posts to make them look like towers, use little white christmas lights around the very tops of the "walls"-make sure horse cannot lick wires or otherwise get electrocuted, though-
drape the horse in a royal purple covering and gild her hooves silver or gold with polish. you can spray-paint an old halter with gold or chrome color to spiff her up, and don't forget to braid her mane in tiny ribboned braids, and tie them off with trailing ribbons, beads, etc. Do her tail too.
you could also decorate her "robe" with glitter paints and fake jewels to make it look like she's wearing a fantastic jeweled necklace. you can make ankle bracelets for her with beads, bells and bangles. have fun!

the tiara will certainly make her a princess. take some cardboard and make triangles for tower tops and put them on top od the corner stall posts and dig a trench around the stall for a moat.
Put a fake castle door (the door that goes across the moat on a real castle) on the stall door.
PINK! Pink ribbons also help to. pink hairspray works really well. If you could get her a pink blanket too, that would help.
